Jatoba is officially known as Hymenaea courbaril. It is a tall canopy of the rainforest. Some Jatoba trees reach towering heights of 30m. The tree is part of the Fabaceae family. Hymenaea courbaril is located from north to southeast of Brazil. Since ancient times, Jatoba has been used in natural remedies against diseases including cough and bronchitis and many others.
