Beaver Stream, Beaver Musk (castoreum) is a secretion of paired sacs of beavers, which has aromatic properties. These pear-shaped epithelial preputial sacs are found in the groin area of beavers living in ecologically clean areas such as Altai. The sacs are filled with a yellowish-brown substance with a bright musky smell. Thanks to a diet consisting of medicinal herbs, beavers accumulate useful components in their sacs, which helps them heal serious wounds.
