Description
The author’s harp Phantom by Dmitry Glazyrin has a special design that allows you to change the pitch of the instrument by placing a magnetic ball in the ring of the tongue. The leather case included with the harp has a special place for such a ball. Thus, the harp can sound like a bass or a midrange. Without a magnetic ball, in terms of hardness and purity of sound, the instrument occupies an intermediate place between Magnum and the previous generation of Dmitry Glazyrin models. However, the timbre of the instrument is less piercing and bright, and more even than that of the master’s other harps. The sensitivity of the instrument is reduced with a small amplitude of the tongue stroke and increases with increased impacts along with the saturation of the sound. The solid frame does not create problems with imprecise holding. With the use of a ball, the Phantom becomes a real king of bass harps. Its dynamic range expands. At low speeds you can enjoy a long decay time, at high speeds each impact sound becomes uniform. The only thing is that when you hit away from yourself, you will hear some extraneous sounds.
